Hello gorgeous people!  My name is Stephanie and I lead this fabulous team!  I am a full time mother of two beautiful children and a proud puppy mom.  I am one of five kids, born and raised in Philadelphia.  Treats are a must in my life and I am slightly obsessed with shoes!  Faith, family and friends are what make me who I am.

My passion began in high school where I would braid the girls’ hair that sat in front of me and pretended to know what I was doing when it came to prom hair styles.  After high school I attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia, and following graduation was hired to assist for a master stylist in one of the area’s top salons - a challenging but thrilling opportunity!   While as an assistant I was trained by the best in the industry and was able to attend advanced classes led by Redken specialists.  In 2008 I was promoted to Stylist, where styling hair for local entrepreneurs, dance teams, and TV personalities was a regular.

I was also a professional dancer for the Philadelphia NLL for 5 years, serving as dance team captain for 2 years.  I loved the thrill of dancing in front of thousands of fans at every home game, as well as being named 2010 NLL Cheerleader of the year!  Being featured in countless photo shoots and television appearances opened my vision for the business I have today.  These small opportunities showcased a side of hairstyling and beauty I knew I wanted to develop!  This is where I learned what it takes to look beautiful on stage and in front of the camera!

In 2010 I relocated to the Hampton Roads, VA Area and immediately began working as a senior stylist in a high-class local salon.  In 2012 my beautiful baby girl was born and I wanted to be with her all the time!  But my love for the beauty industry was still my passion.  Taking a leap of faith, and with the support of my family and friends, I started this company!  As intimidating as it appeared it was the best decision I have ever made.  This continues to be a learning experience and can be challenging at times, but remembering why I started motivates me to succeed!  I love making people look and feel beautiful, and I am truly blessed to have received so much love and support from my clients. 3 years and baby boy later business was booming!  I hated turning clients away because I was booked and decided it was time to expand!  I am truly blessed to have found passionate and talented girls to join my team! They are amazing and I am thankful for their dedication and hard work.

As a licensed cosmetologist and teacher I am proud to be a part of the this beauty team!  My obsession for hair and makeup started at a very young age when I would try to curl my entire collection of baby doll and Barbie’s hair.  All of them would end up with melted hair then drawn on makeup with markers!  By age 10 I was begging my parents to let me color my hair every color of the rainbow and would get into my older sister’s makeup case.  I didn't consider beauty as a career till later on in life. At the age of 24 I decided I wanted to use my skills to do something I love and make other people happy.  I believe that doing what makes you happy enables you to be better at that job.  While attending one of the best cosmetology schools in the area I was drawn more towards the art of styling and makeup application than color and cutting.  After years of hard work and training I have perfected my techniques to specialize in special event hairstyling with experience in makeup application. As a hairstylist I love to use my creative talent and make people feel flawless.

Being a more recent graduate from Rudy and Kelly Acedemy Paul Mitchell partner school, I am extremely blessed to have gotten the opportunity to be part of this amazing team of women. I am also extremely grateful for my journey that led me here today. I come from three generations of hairstylist. One being my grandmother, and one being my mother! I can remember as a child always getting off of the bus at my Moms hair salon and just watching in awe at the things she did. Soon enough I was sweeping and shampooing the nice ladies hair that came into the salon. She sometimes would let me for a split second. Safe to say it did not take me long to discover what rout I was going to take in life and what I loved to do! During my highschool years I had a new found love, which was upstyling. I come from a very small town so somehow I was always booked up during from season to do girls hair for the dance.. Then having to do my own last minute, but I loved every second of it. So Ive known for a while I wanted to specialize in special event hair styling. Right as I was graduating from school at the age of 19 I stumbled upon a few Special event styling teams but when I came across Stephanie and her team I knew I had to try and be apart of it. I absolutely love their passion for making people look and feel beautiful, as I know I have that same passion. As a current assistant for Flawless I am so grateful of this opportunity and I absolutely can’t wait to see where this takes me!

I'm from a very small town in Oklahoma where we didn't have many options for hair salons and everyone knew my love for hairstyling so when it came time for school dances or events I was their go to. It all started when I was taught how to braid at the age of 7. While in college, I continued to be the one everyone came to for their hair needs. I had considered cosmetology as a career; however we didn't have good option for schools in my area. It wasn't until my Husband's Navy Career brought us to Virginia that I had the opportunity to attend cosmetology school. At the age of 25 I enrolled in school at Rudy and Kelly Academy. While in school, my love for special occasion styles grew along with a passion to teach! After graduating, I quickly joined the team at Rudy and Kelly Academy where I followed my dreams of teaching. During the wedding season of 2016 I was able to assist the Flawless stylists on a few weddings, which sparked my passion again for hairstyling. I am so happy to be a part of this great team and excited to see where it takes me.
